Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of prayertimesglobal.com. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be readable rather than exhaustive, and nothing in them removes rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.
Last updated: 3 August 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Prayer Times Global, the operator of prayertimesglobal.com. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Prayer Times Global. “You” refers to anyone accessing the site.
2. What the site provides
We publish calculated Islamic prayer times for cities worldwide, together with monthly calendars, a qibla direction tool and a Hijri calendar converter. The service is free and does not require an account.
The times are astronomical calculations produced from parameters published by recognised Islamic authorities. They are a reference for planning. They are not religious rulings and they do not replace the timetable of your local mosque. The scope and limits of what we publish are set out in full in our disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You may use this site freely for personal and community purposes, including consulting it for your own worship, sharing links, and printing a monthly calendar for a mosque noticeboard or family use.
You may not:
- Use automated systems to scrape, harvest or systematically download content from the site at a rate that burdens our infrastructure.
- Republish substantial portions of our content as your own, or create a derivative site from our data.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or any connected system.
- Introduce malicious code, or take any action that interferes with the site’s operation or availability to others.
- Remove, obscure or alter any attribution, notice or disclaimer we display.
- Use the site in a way that breaks the law in your jurisdiction or ours.
We may restrict or block access where use breaches these terms or threatens the stability of the service.
4. Intellectual property
The written content of this site, its design, layout, code and compilation of data are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright.
Prayer times themselves are astronomical facts and we claim no ownership of the underlying values. Our calculations are performed using the Aladhan service, which implements published parameters from the Islamic authorities named on our methodology page. Those authorities’ conventions remain theirs.
You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Reproducing whole pages, or building a competing service from our compiled data, requires our written permission.
5. Accuracy and no warranty
We take accuracy seriously and correct reported errors promptly. Even so, the site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the times shown will match those observed or announced by any particular mosque or authority, that the service will be free of interruption or error, or that any defect will be corrected within a given time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. This includes any loss said to arise from a prayer or fast performed early, late or not at all in reliance on times published here.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service, which for a free site is nil.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
7. Third party links and advertising
The site may contain links to third party websites and may display advertising served by third party networks. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. A link or an advertisement is not an endorsement. Your dealings with any third party are between you and them.
8. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: no account is required, we do not ask who you are in order to show you a prayer time, browser location data is used on your device and not stored by us, and we do not sell personal information.
9. Changes to the service and to these terms
We may add, change or withdraw features, cities or tools at any time. We may also revise these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Where a change materially reduces your rights we will highlight it on the site.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, without notice, including for maintenance or where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. As no account is required, you may stop using the site at any time simply by leaving it.
11. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. A failure by us to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
12. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws applicable at our place of operation, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the form on our contact page.
